Our Cucumber Seed Oil is cold pressed from the cleaned and dried seeds of premium quality cucumbers. It is then carefully filtered to obtain a brilliant, clear yellow oil with a mild, fresh cucumber aroma.

Cucumber Seed Oil contains about 14-20% oleic acid and about 60-68% omega-3 linoleic acid, making it an excellent choice for use in moisturizing formulations for the skin and hair care. A high content of natural tocopherols and phytosterols further enhance its protective and nutritive benefits for beauty and personal care.

USES

Cucumber Seed Oil possesses a remarkable amount of phytosterols. Studies indicate that phytosterols help support normal skin elasticity and help maintain healthy, hydrated skin. Cucumber Seed Oil contains a significant percentage of oleic acid and linoleic acid and can be effective in formulations intended to soothe and support dry, problematic, mature and sunburned skin.
